The Letter

The letter

A slow note,
once a month.

Not a newsletter in the usual sense. No offers, no countdowns, no nine in the morning sales push. One quiet letter at the turn of each month, about water, rest, and the small habits that hold a day together. You can leave any time, in a single reply.

A tall glass of still water infused with cucumber and mint, resting on a soft sage and sand surface.
The glass that began it all, still the favourite.

Why slow

Most letters want something from you. This one would rather give you a minute back.

We write the way we drink, without hurry. The letter is short enough to read with a glass in hand, and considered enough to be worth the few minutes it asks.

Once, not often

One letter a month, never more. If a month has nothing worth saying, we will say nothing at all.

A note, not a pitch

A reflection on rest, a small habit worth keeping, the odd thing we have learned about water. Rarely anything to buy.

Yours to leave

One reply ends it, with no last-chance plea and no questionnaire. We keep your address only while you want us to.

What is usually inside

A loose shape, never a template.

No two letters are the same, but they tend to settle into something like this.

  • A short reflection

A few hundred words on something quiet, slowing down at the desk, the use of a real pause, the season turning.

  • One small habit

A single thing to try, the kind that takes a minute and asks nothing of your willpower. The glass-before-the-phone began here.

  • A note from the coast

Now and then, a word on the blend, a new botanical we are testing, or simply the weather over the water in Wexford.
