Plainly put

What we know
about you, and
what we do not.

We kept this page as plain as the ingredient list. It says exactly what the site records, what it does not, and how to ask us to remove anything.

The short version

If you simply read this site, we do not know you were here. No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics, no profile building. The only personal details we hold are the ones you type in yourself, and at the moment that means the newsletter and nothing else.

What we collect, and only when you act

If you sign up for the letter

We store your email address, your name if you give one, and the IP address the signup came from. The IP is kept as a record that the signup was genuine. We use all of this for one purpose: sending you the letter. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.

If you vote on an FAQ answer

We store a one-way hash of your IP address against that question. It exists only to stop the same person voting twice. It is not reversible into an address and it is not linked to anything else.

If you write to us

We keep your message and your reply address for as long as it takes to deal with what you asked, and no longer.

What we deliberately do not collect

Our page statistics are counts, not visits. The site records how many times a page was opened in a given hour, and which sites sent people here. That is the whole of it. There is no IP address, no browser fingerprint, no device record and no row that could be traced to a person. Those counts are kept for a year and then removed.

There is no Google Analytics here, no advertising network, no social media tracker, and no third-party font service. The typefaces are served from this site’s own server, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.

Cookies, both of them

ep_csrf is a security token. It is what stops someone else submitting a form in your name. It is required for the site to work safely.

ep_gdpr_consent remembers which button you pressed on the cookie notice, so you are not asked again on every page. It is stored in your browser only and is never sent anywhere for logging.

That is the complete list. Neither one follows you to any other website.

Your rights, and how to use them

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of anything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. You do not need to give a reason and it costs nothing.

Email hello@drinkfeelflow.com and say what you want. We will reply within 30 days, which is the limit the law sets. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
